The firm is based in Rome and it is led by
Claudia Ricciardi and Marco Tanzilli since 2017

TARI is involved in multiple scale design process, spanning from urban planning to temporary installations. Each project is intended as the chance to address a challenge, critically interpreting the needs and expectations of the contemporary society.

Their work has been awarded in many national and international competitions as FAI BENE school, Rimini (1st prize), Scuola Futura, Venafro (1st prize), Scuola Futura, Fara San Martino (1st prize), Nanjing tobacco factory, Nanjing (2nd prize), Divercity, Russia (1st prize), Sverdlovsk philharmonic, Yekaterinburg (2nd prize with Alvisi Kirimoto), Space Salim, Seoul (2nd prize).

TARI also pursues speculative research and publications in particular at Sapienza University of Rome.

TARI won the 1st prize for the top 10 best italian firms under 36 award(NIB-NewItalianBlood) and the 3rd prize for the best italian firms under 35 award (YIA-YoungItalianArchitects presS/Tletter). TARI also obtained the Europe 40under40 award being listed among the 40 best european architects under 40.

Claudia Ricciardi

Graduated from Sapienza University of Rome with honors in 2014, she obtained the Second Level Postgraduate Master Degree "Progettista di Architetture Sostenibili" at Inarch, winning the M.A.D. Prize. After national and international work experieces, she found TARI Architects in 2017. She is teaching assistant of the Design Laboratory of Prof. Arch. Alfonso Giancotti, Sapienza University of Rome. From 2019 to 2022 she carried out the PhD in "Architecture. Theories and Design" at Sapienza University of Rome. In 2021 she was elected Councilor of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of Rome and Province (2021-2025) and delegated to architecture competitions. In 2023 she won a research fellowship at the Department of Architecture and Project, Sapienza University.

Marco Tanzilli

Graduated from Sapienza University of Rome with honors in 2015 with the thesis “UNFINISHED: Ruins and rubbles of Contemporaneity”, that was published in differet magazines and architecture books, he obtained the Second Level Postgraduate Master Degree "Virtual Architecture" at Quasar Design University of Rome with the highest score. After national and international work experieces, she found TARI Architects in 2017. He is teaching assistant of the Design Laboratory of Prof. Arch. Alfonso Giancotti, Sapienza University of Rome. Recently, he has been inserted by TPI (The Post Internationale) in the list of the 20 best talented young italians of 2019. In 2023 he has been selected as a member of Laboratorio Roma050 for the Municipality of Rome, directed by Stefano Boeri.
